How do I share one photo album between iPhone and Android?

Guest Album is a free QR code guest album for weddings and events, where guests scan one code and add their photos and videos with no app or sign-up.

  1. Create the album on your phone or computer

Give it a name and a welcome line, then press Get my QR code. You sign in at that step, with Google or a code sent to your email.

  2. Send the link to the group chat

On a phone, tap Share and send the link to WhatsApp or Messages. From a computer, copy the link and paste it into the chat.

  3. Everyone opens the link in their browser

Safari on an iPhone and Chrome on an Android phone open the same album. Each person types a first name once and picks photos and videos from their gallery.

  4. Download everything in one ZIP

The ZIP holds up to 5,000 photos and videos, and each file is named with the date and the person who added it.

Collect photos from every phone and decide what stays

  • Keep HEIC photos and MOV videos as they are

People can add JPEG, PNG and HEIC photos up to 40 MB, and MP4 or MOV videos up to 400 MB. A browser that can't open a HEIC photo asks the person to save it as a JPEG first.

  • Approve photos before the group sees them

Turn on review in the album settings, and each new photo waits for your approval.

  • Stop new photos when you are done

Switch off Guests can add photos once the trip or the party is over, and nothing new comes in.

Questions people ask

Is this shared photo album free?

Yes. It costs nothing for you and for everyone who adds photos, and it shows no ads. There is no paid plan to upgrade to, and the album has no expiry date, so it stays online until you delete it.

Do people need an app or an account to add photos?

No. The link opens in the phone's browser, so there is nothing to install. Nobody you invite makes an account or a password. An aunt on an older Android phone and a friend on a new iPhone use the same link.

Can I use a QR code instead of a link?

Yes. Every album has a QR code you can download or print on a sign. People point their phone camera at it and the album opens, which helps at an event where nobody has your number. Couples put the sign on the tables at weddings.

Does a shared album lower photo quality?

Not this one. The album shows a lighter preview so it opens fast on a phone, but the file it keeps is the one the person picked. Your ZIP download holds those original files at full resolution, ready for prints and photo books.
