What is a shared photo album?
A shared photo album is one online album that everyone at a wedding, a birthday, a trip or any get-together can add to. You send its link or put its QR code on a sign, people open it on their phone, and their photos land in the album. Guest Album makes one for free, and nobody installs anything.
Is Guest Album free?
Yes. Every album takes 100 photos free and stays open to guests for a month after the first one is added, and guests never pay. The QR code, the live slideshow and the download of every photo are included, and there are no ads. Guests can keep adding past 100: those photos are saved and show once you upgrade. When an event needs more room or videos, Plus (500 photos and videos for 3 months) or Premium (10,000 for a year) is one payment for that album, with no subscription. As the host you sign in with Google or an email code when you save the album, so it stays yours. Guests never pay and never sign up.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. Guests open the link, or scan the QR code with their phone camera, and the album opens in the browser. They pick photos from their camera roll, and videos too on Plus and Premium, or take a new photo, and can add their name while the files upload. There is nothing to install and no account or password to create.
How do I download all the photos?
From your album, download every photo and video in one go, up to 5,000 files. Free albums get the photos at 2,048 pixels on the long side with a small Guest Album mark in the corner, and Plus or Premium gets them at full size without it. Videos come as they were added. Only you can download the album. Guests can open photos full screen, like them and share a link to one.
